Your mission:
As an Experienced Manual Tester at Tresorit, you will work on a wide range of internal development initiatives that support multiple business functions such as Marketing, Sales, and Product. Your work will directly impact customer-facing journeys as well as internal systems that enable seamless operations across the company.
You will be part of a cross-functional team collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders from areas such as Marketing, Sales, Support and Finance. Your mission will be to ensure high-quality experiences across the entire customer lifecycle — from website interaction and pricing presentation to checkout flows, subscription management, and customer communications.
As a new member of the Engineering department, you'll play a key role in validating features, shaping requirements through active participation in discussions and plannings, and representing the customer perspective in various projects.
This role is ideal for testers who enjoy bridging business and technology.
Primary responsibilities:
- Manually test end-to-end business workflows including pricing & packaging and communication channel changes across systems (website, checkout, in-app flows, integrations, emails or notifications).
- Support testing of internal tools and flows (e.g. CRM-related processes) to ensure internal teams can operate efficiently.
- Actively participate in kickoff meetings and requirement discussions, asking questions and identifying gaps or edge cases early.
- Define, update & document test cases for upcoming features in TestRail.
- Find & report bugs in JIRA with reproduction steps, screenshots, screen recordings, etc.
- Perform manual testing of new releases and coordinate with stakeholders on validation.
- Write and maintain internal documentation and knowledge base materials.
- Cooperate closely with other testers and cross-functional team members.
Desired qualifications and skills:
- 2+ years of experience in Manual Testing of software applications,
- Excellent communication skills in both Hungarian and English,
- Strong attention to detail and a structured mindset,
- Ability to think critically and analytically,
- Skill to represent the customer perspective during validation,
- Proactivity in identifying inconsistencies and improvement opportunities,
- Must have knowledge of testing techniques to cover edge cases and complex flows,
- Ability to learn quickly & work in a fast-paced environment,
- Team player who collaborates effectively across technical and non-technical teams,
- Ability to work independently and take ownership,
- Willingness for self-development and continuous learning,
- Experience with Browser Dev Tools,
- Natural curiosity about how interconnected systems work (frontend, backend, integrations, data flows),
- Strong technical affinity combined with business awareness.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge/experience in some of the listed areas:
- Experience in writing Automated Tests (in any programming language),
- Familiarity with pricing, subscription, or billing-related systems,
- Experience testing CMS, marketing automation tools and CRM systems (e.g. Hubspot),
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks,
- Experience in JIRA & Testrail,
- ISTQB CTFL Certification,
- Knowledge of reading API responses (JSON/XML), parsing logs, and interpreting error codes,
- Experience using advanced tools (Postman / Thunder Client, proxies).
