Introduction
In your role as a Release Train Engineer (RTE), you assume an empowering leadership role and coach an Agile Release Train (ART), which you actively help to build and develop. You ensure that several agile teams work together effectively, that central ART events create real added value and that continuous improvement is practised. With your work, you strengthen flow, transparency and lean-agile thinking throughout ART – and beyond.

How you make a difference

  • You play an active role in shaping the ART structure, from team composition and roles to the entire ART ceremony.

  • Planning, preparation and moderation of PI planning are your responsibility.

  • You hold central ART events such as ART Sync, System Demo and Inspect & Adapt as real learning and improvement formats.

  • You make progress, risks and dependencies transparent and promote a shared view of work.

  • You improve flow, collaboration and predictability across all teams.

  • You play an active role in portfolio coordination and support the lean agile transformation at all levels.

What you have to offer

  • You have basic or advanced training in the field of informatics or business informatics as well as proven experience as an RTE, scrum master or agile coach.

  • Lean-agile leadership and systemic thinking set you apart – you understand ART as a whole, not as the sum of individual teams.

  • You have strong coaching, moderation and conflict resolution skills.

  • You enjoy working with different stakeholders and succeed on an equal footing.

You have good spoken and written German, good spoken B2 skills in a second national language and good English (B2) skills.
