For one of our teams, we are looking for a dynamic and committed person who can structure complex relationships, bring together different perspectives and consistently implement changes. You combine business needs, business architecture and IT and shape the development of our consignment identification and management services. 

 

You analyse existing solutions, question established structures and identify functional overlaps and optimization potential. Based on your findings, you develop clearly defined, reusable services and oversee their implementation through to technical acceptance. 

 

 

How you make a difference 

  • As a Senior Business Engineer, you create transparency regarding technical responsibilities, dependencies and optimization potential, enabling well-founded decisions to be made.  

  • You structure complex solutions that have evolved over time into clearly defined business capabilities and use these to develop modular, reusable services.  

  • Together with specialist units, architecture teams and software development, you develop viable solutions and bring together different perspectives to create a shared vision.  

  • You describe business rules, information objects, requirements, events and conditions with such precision that development teams can implement them efficiently and clearly.  

  • You actively drive the technical design of our logistics services, supporting the sustainable reduction of complexity in a challenging system landscape.  

  • From analysis of the current situation and solution design through to technical acceptance, you oversee changes end-to-end and ensure that business requirements are met.  

  • Your experience enables you to identify opportunities and risks within complex projects at an early stage and support the organization in making strategically important decisions. 

 

What you have to offer 

  • Your professional career is characterized by several years of experience in business engineering, requirements engineering or business analysis in a complex, technology-orientated environment.  

  • You quickly analyse complex relationships and translate them into clear decisions, technical models and feasible requirements.  

  • When dealing with different stakeholders, you stand out thanks to your strong presentation and communication skills and your ability to develop viable solutions.  

  • Based on your technical understanding, you navigate securely between specialist units, architecture teams and software development and discuss matters on an equal footing with all parties involved.  

  • Ideally, you have experience in modelling business skills, domains, services or end-to-end processes.  

  • Knowledge of logistics, transport, e-commerce or comparable transaction-intensive business environments would help you to get off to a good start, but is not a prerequisite.  

  • You are able to communicate confidently in German and you have the English skills needed to collaborate successfully in an international environment.
