Are you ready to actively develop hybrid identity?

As a cloud and hybrid identity engineer, you help to design key authentication and authorization platforms and shape the future of our hybrid identity landscape. You combine the Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID with cloud engineering, automation and modern authentication technologies.

You help us to develop our hybrid identity platforms and create the basis for secure and modern authentication throughout Swiss Post. You can look forward to an exciting environment where you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced specialists, actively helping to shape technical solutions.

How you make a difference

  • You operate and develop our hybrid identity platforms with a focus on the Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • With GitOps, infrastructure as code and scripting, you automate configurations, deployments and recurring processes.
  • You analyse complex disruptions independently and implement sustainable technical improvements.
  • You contribute to the further development of hybrid identity, modern authentication and cloud-based platforms.
  • You advise internal and external partners on the secure integration of their applications and services.
  • From technical analysis and implementation to documentation, you take responsibility for your solutions.
  • In a versatile combination of engineering, automation and operations, you contribute your own ideas and actively help to design technical solutions.

 

What you have to offer

  • You have completed basic or advanced training in the field of information technology.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the Active Directory and practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID, ideally complemented by relevant certifications.
  • You are very familiar with hybrid identity environments and modern authentication procedures.
  • You already have experience with Git, infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform.
  • Agile working methods are second nature to you, and you are familiar with frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
  • Knowledge of scripting, coding, identity federation, security, GitHub and AI is an advantage. You enjoy analysing complex technical issues and working as part of a team to develop sustainable solutions.
  • Your profile is further strengthened by your ability to work independently, your structured and dependable approach, your excellent command of English and your good knowledge of German. You are also prepared to provide on-call service periodically.

 

Remote work is possible, 1 day presence per week in Bern is required.
