How you make a difference
- In IT at Logistics Services Operations, you work on systems that help our staff deliver millions of letters and parcels on time every day.
- Within the agile DevOps team, you develop innovative software solutions with the latest tools and frameworks.
- As an AWS Backend Developer and Data Engineer, you play a key role in an interdisciplinary team and share responsibility for the successful implementation of products for our internal customers.
- You make targeted use of your knowledge in the team, share your experiences and benefit from your colleagues' expertise.
- You help to develop our DevOps principles and promote a collaborative, learning-oriented work culture.
What you have to offer
- You have several years of experience in analysis, design, implementation, testing, operation and practice in the conception, application and support of data-driven products.
- You are experienced in using Apache Spark, Scala and SQL, and you are also very familiar with big data and the associated technologies, tools and processes, such as data processing with Spark, streaming with Kafka and visualization with Power BI.
- Ideally, you are familiar with AWS cloud-native services such as AWS Glue, Step Functions and Amazon Athena.
- Agile development, DevOps principles and collaboration in interdisciplinary teams are a matter of course for you.
- You have a good spoken and written command of German or French and good proficiency in English.

We offer a fair salary of between CHF 118'180-133'180 per year (100% employment level), depending on experience and skills. Talented people with different skills are also welcome to apply. In such cases your salary may be slightly below or above the range
