Corporate Development Project Manager

How you make a difference
- You are responsible for managing internal and cross-unit strategic transformation projects and programmes, in terms of both content and processes.
- In business unit projects, you bring thought leadership to the table, draw up business cases, plan implementation and actively manage processes.
- In doing so, you contribute to accelerating the transformation of Logistics Services, e.g. in integration projects, business development projects and digitization initiatives.
- You continually develop your industry and strategy knowledge and develop a sound basis for management decisions.
- By participating in the development and expansion of the corporate development community, you help to refine skills across the organization.
- You take responsibility for parts of the strategy process within Logistics Services, including potential portfolio management tasks.
- You coordinate collaboration with Group functions and external stakeholders to implement projects efficiently and report directly to the Logistics Services Head of Unit Development.
What you have to offer
- You have a university degree from a renowned institution and experience as a project manager, senior associate or engagement manager in strategy consulting, as well as several years of experience in a relevant corporate context.
- You have experience in international logistics (3PL, warehousing, transport, letter/parcel logistics) and/or technology-driven projects.
- You have a “getting things done” mentality that allows you to implement projects successfully – even under time/resource constraints – and you are able to confidently navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments.
- You have excellent strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, a practice-orientated approach to problem-solving and can make effective use of management and strategy frameworks.
- You have in-depth financial knowledge, are experienced in business and financial planning, modelling and implementation, and are a reliable, results-oriented worker with a strong hands-on mentality.
- Thanks to your strong communication and leadership skills, you motivate people at all levels, achieve results together and are a confident user of MS Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant tools.
- You have excellent spoken and written German and good knowledge of French (B2 in speaking).
