How you make a difference
- As Cluster Lead IT Basic Services, you will not only ensure stable, efficient and customer-oriented 24/7 operations, but will also actively shape the development of our basic platforms and network and data center services. In this role, you will combine operations, engineering and modern IT architectures to create a resilient yet innovative foundation.
- As a member of the management team, you will have cross-cluster responsibility and be responsible for organizational development, transformation and the modern service and process landscape of the entire IT Service Center.
- You will strategically develop the services for which you are responsible, modernize technologies and drive forward the transformation towards automation, the cloud and future-oriented platform architectures. In this way, you will create solutions that strengthen our competitiveness in the long term.
- You will create and maintain the product roadmap and be responsible for the entire lifecycle management of the assigned services – from implementation to continuous optimization.
- You will manage costs, assume financial responsibility for results and lead the product cluster to measurable success in an impact-oriented manner.
- You will implement the strategic goals of the IT Service Center and ensure a clear focus within the cluster – both in operations and in further development towards modern, scalable IT infrastructures.
- You will lead your cluster as an Agile Release Train in accordance with SAFe with five directly subordinate employees and the technical management of around 80 specialists. In this role, you will promote responsibility, adaptability and agile working methods and develop the organization in a targeted manner together with P&T leads and stakeholders.
- You will promote the professional and methodological development of employees and ensure active, constructive dialogue with internal and external stakeholders – always with the aim of reconciling innovation, stability and transformation.
What you have to offer
- You have a higher level of business management or technical training, supplemented by advanced training in I/T.
- You have several years of management experience in technical areas within complex corporate structures.
- You have gained experience in managing and supporting digital transformations and confidently guide teams through change processes.
- You have also gained several years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, particularly in the areas of cloud, zero trust, connectivity and platform engineering.
- You are familiar with modern IT operating models and agile methods – particularly SAFe – and you use them in a targeted manner.
- You can communicate confidently in German, both verbally and in writing, and have good knowledge of a second national language and good knowledge of English.
