Requirement to Deployment Competence Center Lead

70–100% (job sharing possible), Bern or Neuchâtel and home office

How you make a difference

  • In this role, you ensure that automation measures are defined and implemented in development and delivery.  
  • You also ensure that the CI/CD pipeline meets Swiss Post I/T requirements and provide guidelines for test automation and the integration of automated quality reports (automated quality assurance baseline). 
  • Within the I/T organization, you support R2D managers in establishing and continuously developing quality standards, methods and time-to-market directives. 
  • You are responsible for the further development of the R2D Competence Center.  
  • You also lead the R2D steering community, assess new trends and, as required, derive the development of competencies and impacts on the I/T organization. 
  • You are responsible for the financial planning and management of the relevant cost centers. 
  • Your tasks also include optimizing the processes in requirement engineering, solution build & configure, and change & deployment. 

What you have to offer

  • For this role, you have a higher level of business management or technical training, supplemented by advanced training in the fields of business analysis, software development, deployment, etc. 
  • You also have experience in a management or coordinating role – ideally in several or all of the specified areas of responsibility. 
  • You have a strong technical understanding, particularly in the area of requirements engineering, and in dealing with IT technologies and application development. 
  • With a balanced combination of entrepreneurial thinking, coaching expertise and networking capability, you embody our new I/T culture: pragmatic and working together for our specialist units. 
  • Besides strong consulting and implementation skills, you are characterized by determination, excellent communication skills at all levels and outstanding leadership qualities. 
  • You communicate confidently in written and spoken German or French, have a good command of English and basic knowledge of a second national language. 

You are required to be present in Bern for 2–3 days a week. 

We offer you attractive and fair remuneration ranging from CHF 140'800-155'800 per year (on a full-time basis), depending on experience, qualifications and areas of responsibility. You also benefit from a variable salary component as well as comprehensive social security benefits and other discounts. Talented people with different skills are also welcome to apply. In such cases your salary may be slightly below or above the range.
