Junior Software Technical Writer

As a Junior Technical Writer you will be working closely with your direct colleagues but also with product management, marketing, design, and delivery. You will be the principal author and editor of the core product documentation, employing the principles of docs-as-code.
As your career progresses, you can expect to suggest and direct future improvements to the documentation system. Your ability to understand and explain the product will be a key contribution to the success of the company as a whole. We value good documentation and understand how important it is.
How you make a difference
- Document the core concepts of the Unblu product by writing tutorials, guides, and references
- Document the related user interface, APIs and libraries
- Ensure that all content is up-to-date and reliable
- Write whitepapers and use-cases on online customer engagement topics
- Write microcopy for the Unblu UI
- Work with UX Design to improve the usability of the product itself
- Work with R&D to continually improve the documentation tools and publishing system
- Work with Product Management and Marketing to continually refine how the Unblu product is presented to the world
What you have to offer
- Relevant previous work experience in technical documentation and/or software development
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently, combined with a collaborative mindset and strong teamworking skills
- Knowledge of software development processes
- Ability to understand new technical details and explain them effectively
