Power BI Expert

You are an experienced Power BI Expert, ready to enrich our team and take our data analysis and visualization skills to the next level. You are responsible for the design, development and optimization of Power BI solutions and enable employees to work with Power BI. You help us shape the Swiss Post of tomorrow.

How you make a difference

  • You work in close contact with internal partners, analyse their needs and develop or support user-centric Power BI solutions.
  • In cooperation with BI self-service controllers, you are a driving force for Swiss Post on its journey to becoming a data-driven Group. You enable other staff to use Power BI by creating learning paths and holding training sessions.
  • By leading projects from a technical perspective, you play an important role in successful implementation and ensuring partner satisfaction.
  • Your responsibilities include close cooperation with Data Scientists and Data Engineers along with mentoring internal and external staff. You assume the role of expert and advisor for clients.
  • You work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units and external partners.
  • You promote exchange of knowledge within the team and ensure that Support requests are processed efficiently.
  • You support Power BI controllers in optimizing framework conditions and tool-specific tasks and provide support.

What you have to offer

  • You have a university degree in informatics, business informatics or business administration.
  • You have a full understanding of the Power BI Platform, its functions and possibilities, including creation of reports, data models, DAX calculations and integration of data from a variety of sources.
  • You are able to understand and create complex data models and transform data from different sources, including the cleaning, aggregation and linking of data.
  • You are happy to share your expertise and help staff develop the right report.
  • You are able to optimize Power BI reports to ensure smooth performance, especially for large data records.
  • Knowledge of other BI tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau and SAP Datasphere round off your profile.
  • You have a very good command of German and English to ensure clear communication with stakeholders. Good knowledge of spoken French is beneficial.

We offer you attractive and fair remuneration ranging from CHF 126'400 to CHF 141'400 per year (on a full-time basis), depending on experience, qualifications and areas of responsibility. You also benefit from a variable salary component as well as comprehensive social security benefits and other discounts. Talented people with different skills are also welcome to apply. In such cases your salary may be slightly below or above the range.
