At Swiss Post Informatics, we successfully handle over 300 projects and initiatives each year. As part of the Cluster Customer Service, Sales & Marketing team, you'll help us continue to implement our projects to an excellent standard.
How you make a difference
- You will manage medium-size and large projects in innovative work environments, and your project teams will consist of specialists from IT and the business.
- The field of customer experience will inspire you to proactively design forward-looking solutions with direct benefits for Swiss Post's customers, and to champion these solutions together with your team.
- As a project manager in IT, you will be responsible for your project in terms of deadlines, budgets and quality, from the initialization phrase through to the eventual introduction, as well as the successful operational handover.
- You will communicate directly with internal customers and will be the point of contact for all external or internal queries.
- You will manage your team in a goal-oriented manner, and you will plan, coordinate and monitor the work of your project colleagues.
- You will collect technical requirements on your own initiative, and will be responsible for finding appropriate solutions.
- Your responsibilities will also include project marketing, contract administration, as well as controlling and internal customer support.
What you have to offer
- You are a motivated, proactive individual who enjoys taking on responsibility and values agility.
- Besides possessing general IT expertise and a high level of social competency, you are a very committed, assertive person.
- Conceptual, networked and entrepreneurial thinking are also core requirements, as well as a high affinity for dealing with technical and organizational issues.
- You possess leadership qualities and are able to motivate employees to achieve excellent results.
- You have sound knowledge in the field of IT infrastructure (cloud, big data, IoT, API management etc.) or software development (mobile, API, UX etc.).
- You have already acquired experience in recent years as a project manager, and you are familiar with agile methods (e.g. SCRUM)..
- You have an excellent command of German and English.
